It was a beautiful day, figuratively and literally to be in Philadelphia. It was like Woodstock and the Phillies came together and Brotherly Love was in the air.
I took the train down from New York to Philly, walked to Broad Street, then snapped off some shots. I had a good viewing angle, but in retrospect, I wish I got there earlier for a better position along the parade route.
After the parade, I went to West Philly, had lunch and took the train back home.
It was a perfect day and I couldn't help to miss my Dad at a moment like that. He loves parades and he loved all the Philly sports teams. It would have been a great, great moment to enjoy something like that with him.
Enjoy the pictures.
